Our Mission
At SLINKY PRODUCTIONS, we believe pole is about so much more than what happens on the stage. It’s about creativity, connection, self-expression, and celebrating the unique stories each performer brings. Debut was created as a space where dancers can step away from the pressures of competition and simply enjoy the experience of sharing their art. We’re proud to celebrate the incredible diversity, passion, and community spirit that makes pole so special.

Meet The Team
Melina Mall
I started dancing at age five with ballet, and over the years, my journey twirled through contemporary, tap, ballroom, and flamenco. In 2009, I joined John Curtin College of the Arts’ Ballet Program, honing ballet and contemporary skills, and performed with the STEPS Dance Youth Company at iconic venues like the STATE THEATRE – Heath Ledger Theatre and Albany Entertainment Centre. My path later took a twist into the Adult Entertainment industry, where I discovered the magic of Pole and Circus. By 2018, I felt at home in the pole community, and teaching soon became my way of sharing that joy. In 2021, I leapt into TONE & CHEEK’s Club D’amour as an Aerialist and Dancer, performing under the lights of a Spiegeltent at the Perth Fringe Festival, a moment that lit a fire for more performance opportunities. Competing in my first pole competition in 2022 revealed a gap: a space where pole dancers could perform in a professional, supportive environment. That spark led me and my partner, Antonio Pino, to create DEBUT a platform celebrating pole artistry, where dancers can shine on stage for friends, family, and the wider community, without limits. DEBUT 2025 was everything I dreamed of: an honour to be part of so many journeys, and a reminder of why I started this adventure, to create a stage where pole dancers can truly shine.
Antonio Pino
Since 2007, I have been actively involved in sports and performance communities, first as an athlete and later as a coach and event organiser working locally, nationally and internationally. Competing and coaching gave me the opportunity to travel, connect with people, and share knowledge in ways that helped others grow and succeed. In 2014, I co-founded All Things Cheer and Dance Australia, an organisation that delivers events, education, and workshops. What began with 650 athletes at our first event has now grown to over 4,000 participants across three annual events. Bringing Debut to life in 2025 left me feeling truly welcomed and inspired by the passion within the community. Pole is full of extraordinary athleticism, challenges the limits of the human body, and creates powerful experiences that foster confidence, empowerment, and inclusivity. Together with Melina, I am excited to support the continued growth of Pole and those driving it forward with such dedication, so it can be recognised and celebrated as the incredible sport and community it truly is.
